Word has got around! The risk of infection by coronavirus is “also” in the air – a remedy from Heinsberg is coming our way! NTV reports on the TAC V+ aerosol air purifier from Trotec

It is no longer an open secret: In addition to droplet and smear infection, the coronavirus also spreads via aerosols in room and breathing air. Until a few weeks ago, this warning was primarily being spread by foreign authorities such as the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) or numerous scientific studies – but it is now increasingly finding its way into the German media landscape.

The main danger posed by corona lies in the air – and can be inhaled!

The “information ban” appears to have been lifted! As it is becoming increasingly certain that inhaling aerosols (tiny particles) in closed spaces presents an equally high risk of infection as, for example, droplet infection, reporting is increasingly focused on technical solutions: Specially developed air purifiers which can protect employees or customers from aerogenic (airborne) infection. And here’s where the air starts to clear!

Maximum infection protection from Heinsberg: TAC V+ air purifier with H14 virus filter

There is currently no mobile air purifier with integrated HEPA thermal decontamination that is anywhere near as good as the innovative TAC V+ air purifier from Trotec. Or to put it simply: There are, of course, compact air purifiers by different manufacturers on the market, but none of them has anywhere near as high an air purification rate as the TAC V+, which boasts a HEPA virus filtration rate of 99.995%. This is needed to filter germ-contaminated aerosol clouds reliably from the air, even over a greater distance. The innovative HEPA filter from Trotec is not only extremely effective at removing viruses and bacteria from the room air; the TAC V+ even decontaminates the integrated filter automatically. The TAC V+ high-frequency air purifier draws in potentially contaminated air in large volumes near the floor, then filters practically all viruses and suspended particles out of the drawn-in air within minutes and returns clean, virus-filtered air to the room. This immediately dilutes spontaneously occurring aerosol clouds at head level with very large quantities of clean air, thus significantly reducing the viral load and risk of infection.

The NTV television team is filming at the place it all began in Germany: Heinsberg

The district of Heinsberg plays a tragic role in Germany’s corona history. The district became known as the first coronavirus stronghold. As a Heinsberg-based company, this gives us all the more reason to be proud that our TAC V+ will make a decisive contribution to stopping the coronavirus from spreading further.

Development of the TAC V+ began when the first cases of infection were announced in Heinsberg

We have specialised in room air filtering from day one. After the first case was announced, our Heinsberg-based company immediately started work on a solution that actually helps and doesn’t just offer perceived protection,” explained Jochem Weingartz in an interview with NTV during a tour of the production facilities. “Masks and sneeze barriers are one thing. However, all experts now agree that aerosols, some of which remain in the air for hours, pose the greatest risk of infection. The aim must therefore be to filter these aerosols out of the room air effectively and above all quickly,” added Bsc Eng Cezmi Akcay, chief developer at Trotec, and referred to the numerous Heinsberg studies in which Trotec employees were also involved.

The film was shot at the production location in the district of Heinsberg. The documentary will be broadcast on the news channel NTV on German TV. The film will also be available on Trotec’s YouTube channel.
