NEW Mini videoscope BO22 – for visual inspection of difficult to access areas including optional photo and video documentation

The dream of every technician or ambitious DIY enthusiast: to be able to look behind the scenes and see what’s really going on – without having to remove wall, ceiling and floor panelling or housing covers in advance. Endoscopic examination with the BO22 mini-videoscope provides such a convenient visual check: Simply insert the small camera in the head of the gooseneck probe into the interior of hard-to-reach cavities – and you can see live and in colour on its 3″ LC display what has up to now been going on in secret.

Whether for indirect optical inspection of concealed machine parts or for insights into cavities that are only accessible through small openings – the narrow and semi-flexible gooseneck probe of the BO22 mini-videoscope has a diameter of only 5.5 mm and is therefore ideally suited for in-between auto inspections or an informative look into blind spots. This includes gaps and cable ducts, drains or pipelines – or even in applications where the probe is located under water. And all this without the need to break open walls or disassemble technical equipment. The LC colour display provides razor-sharp photos and videos, and a 3x zoom is available to enlarge the view.

How it works

With its brilliant image and photo reproduction and a maximum camera resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the BO22 mini videoscope is thoroughly convincing. For detailed viewing, you can ‘freeze’ an image sequence during video transmission and examine it more closely as a still image. A 3x zoom allows you to enlarge image sections 1.0x, 1.5x and 2.0x. If a micro SD card is inserted in the device, all images can be saved as photos or videos. In addition, the videoscope is equipped with a camera lamp and a device lamp that brings its very own light into the dark.

Thanks to its wireless operation, the BO22 is extremely flexible and easy to use. The display is equipped with a date and time display for accurate time documentation. If required, the tip of the gooseneck probe can be additionally equipped with a 45° mirror, hook or magnet attachment, thus extending the functional possibilities. The 45°-mirror attachment included in the scope of delivery allows, for example, a ‘look around the corner’ or a closer look at the object from different perspectives. With the magnet or hook attachment you can move objects out of the way or extract them altogether.

Best of all: you can get started endoscopically right away thanks to the complete set – in addition to the BO22 mini videoscope, the delivery includes a practical carrying bag, a three-part accessory set with 45° mirror, hook and magnetic attachment for the probe head, and 4 LR6 AA (1.5 V) batteries.

Four of the many advantages I particularly like:

  • the 3 inch digital LCD colour display
  • the 95 cm long, semi-flexible and bendable gooseneck probe (Ø 5.5 mm)
  • the IP67 waterproof gooseneck probe and camera head for underwater use
  • the standard 3-piece accessory set with 45° mirror, hook and magnet attachment
