Here’s how it works
Two high-quality reversible carbide knives with double the service life are fitted to the large planing shaft of the PPLS 10‑800 to ensure uniformity flat work results. Because when they wear out, you can simply turn the knives over and continue working with the rear cutting edge before they need to be replaced.
The electric planer enables you to carry out even demanding planing work: for example, you can pre-set rebate depths of up to 11 mm and reduce the maximum width of the planing track measuring up to 82 mm to the required dimension using the rip fence. On the guide knob, you can finely adjust the cutting depth from 0 to 2.5 mm in increments of 0.1 mm. In addition, the front foot plate has three V-grooves of different sizes, making precise chamfering easy.
Its symmetrical design makes the electric planer easy to handle for both right- and left-handed users. With an ideal centre of gravity and integrated softgrip inserts in the guide handle, the pleasantly compact PPLS 10‑800 is recommended for continuous professional use with maximum working ergonomics. Even during long working sessions, the tool is non-slip and has a secure grip, guarantees a secure hold for vibration-damped planing work at all times and can be guided precisely over its solid aluminium base plates.
