Bring on the garden party
Having tents and gazebos is a huge benefit – they are always flexible. If you spontaneously choose to take off for the weekend, you have always got a roof over your head. And if you invite friends over to your garden in the spring or summer, a gazebo will always provide a sheltered area if it gets chilly in the evening or when rain clouds appear.
But being flexible means, in turn, taking good care of these temporary ceilings and walls. Once they have been cleaned – ideally with a high-pressure cleaner – tents and gazebos should be dried and carefully folded. When storing them in a basement or shed, use a dehumidifier to prevent mould and mildew from forming. The TTK-E-S series Compact Dehumidifiers from Trotec provide ideal protection for stored tents.

The risk of mould in your conservatory
Do the large conservatory windows always steam up in winter? Do you think simply wiping it away will solve the problem? One moment! It’s not that easy, because wet glass is always a warning sign that air humidity levels are too high. That is not good – because with humidity comes a risk of mould growth, even in the conservatory!
Fresh air for pipes
Ordinary dehumidifiers cannot be installed in gas distribution stations. The risk of explosion would be too high. At the same time, air humidity is extremely high, which in turn damages pipes, the building itself and electronics. Condensation on pipes, mould growth on ceilings and walls, frost damage in winter and the high restoration costs to match will all be waiting in line if nothing is done to combat the high air humidity in a distribution station.
Trotec has the solution to the problem! The dehumidifiers from the TTR range include models that are pressure-tolerant and also work with excess pressure. The models marked with the letter “D” are best suited for use in gas distribution stations.
Risk of mould due to increased air humidity in winter!
Clouded windows! Did you enjoy drawing all over the steamed up windows as a child? Especially small love hearts or – more ambitiously – a game of noughts and crosses? The wet glass is now a warning of the increased air humidity that comes in the autumn and winter.
And it can lead to serious problems with mould.
Condensation at embarkation? No thanks!
As long as your chilled and frozen products are still in storage, everything is fine. The temperature is set and the goods are kept in a stable climate. But when it comes to transport, things get tricky. How can the prescribed temperature of the products be best maintained to ensure they are not damaged by condensation? Ultimately, this concerns large quantities that must first be loaded and stored in the transporters. A sophisticated climate conditioning system is a must to ensure the cold chain is not broken. To this end, Trotec offers various solutions to provide the appropriate dehumidification. A perfect example would be the closed drying systems from the DH range.
Top quality turbines
Whenever an industrial plant component fails, this means a great economic loss. Particularly when it comes to power plants that should, if possible, be used without any interruptions, the damage caused by an unexpected failure can be enormous. In addition to regular maintenance, ensuring the right climate environment for the service life of the plant parts is also crucial. In order to protect plants from dangerous frost, condensation and corrosion, operators put great emphasis on the right humidity control. You too? Then you need a Trotec high-performance dehumidifier!
Control rooms, turbines and boilers – these are the heart of every power plant. And this heart needs to beat reliably and strongly. Turbines and boilers are particularly susceptible to corrosion. If they need replacing, there is a risk of significant financial loss. Read More
