The devices can be equipped with class 14 high-performance filters. Moreover, the TAC 1500 enables an extremely variable range of applications thanks to the unique Vario-shift function. With this function, the positions of the ventilator and HEPA unit can be changed easily so that you can align the filter chains in the required sequence at any time for cleanroom to standard applications.
The TAC 1500 / 1500 S professional air purifiers facilitate clean room sanitation as well as microbial and virus air purification. If required, the HEPA filter surface of both TAC devices can be equipped with an H14 filter to effectively remove viruses and other airborne contaminants in the particle range 0.1 to 0.2 µm. So you can keep hygiene-sensitive areas clinically clean with both devices – up to 14 m² and an air volume of up to 35 m³. The TAC 1500 also impresses with the unique Vario-shift function, thanks to which the filter chain can be flexibly configured either with a terminal fan or HEPA filter, as required for cleanroom environments.
H14 filter for cleanrooms of classes ISO 4 and ISO 3
The H14 endfilter is designed for cleanrooms of classes ISO 4 and ISO 3 and has a separation rate of 99.995 % at a particle size of 0.1 to 0.2, which means that with an H14 filter only 5 of 100,000 parts of this size break through. It is important to note that virus strains such as SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV and the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 show a similar particle size. Recent studies, for example, determine the particle size of the coronavirus to be 120 to 160 nanometres, i.e. 0.12 to 0.16 µm. Such particle sizes are effectively separated by means of the H14 filter, especially since viruses in the air generally occur in combination with saliva or suspended matters as larger conglomerates.
