Here’s how it works
The digital true RMS multimeter BE52 covers practically all possible applications with ten functions for the most common measured quantities. You can use the BE52 to carry out DC and AC voltage measurements, capacitance measurements, frequency/duty cycle measurements, resistance measurements, diode tests as well as acoustic continuity tests. Via the integrated Bluetooth® interface you can easily and conveniently transfer the measured data to a smartphone or tablet for professional evaluation or logging with the free MultiMeasure Mobile App (Android and iOS) from Trotec .
The BE52 displays the measured values clearly on the large, backlit LC display. Thanks to the practical hold function, the measured values can still be read on the display even after the measurement process. During the continuity test, an acoustic signal indicates a short-circuit or a closed circuit and thus enables faster work progress as you do not have to keep an eye on the display during the measurement. In order to have both hands free for measuring work, a fold-out stand is integrated on the back of the unit. In dark environments, the integrated torch provides optimal illumination of the work area. The automatic device switch-off (auto-power off) after 15 minutes of inactivity is battery-saving and practical.
As it complies with the CAT III 600V measurement category, the measuring device enables you to work safely within building installations, such as stationary consumers with non-pluggable connections, distribution connections or permanently installed devices in the distributor. In addition to the particularly hard-wearing housing made of impact-resistant plastic, the BE52, which is dust-proof according to IP40, impresses with double insulation of the measuring device and measuring lines according to insulation protection class II.
Good to know – that’s what the ‘True’ in the unit name stands for
As a true RMS measuring device, the BE52 also correctly measures non-sinusoidal signal characteristics and this directly determines the true RMS value of any alternating quantity. The ‘True Root Mean Square’ stands for the correct determination and output of the true RMS value.
