The Japanese trade fair “Supermarket Trade Show 2022” (in the Makuhari Messe convention center near Tokyo) from February 16 to 18, 2022 will provide information about the latest developments and products for supermarkets and the food industry. Technical innovations from the areas of business equipment, services for trading partners, concepts for marketing/sales and, in the third year of the corona pandemic, of course also innovative air cleaning technology for trade and industry will be presented.
Also present: The new TAC high-performance air cleaner generation from Trotec, presented at the booth 6-405 (Equipment and Material) of the Japanese company Rei-Tech Co., Ltd.
The Tokyo-based company Rei-Tech specializes in the distribution of refrigeration equipment, air conditioning technology and air purification solutions for food markets, among others. As a Trotec sales partner, Rei-Tech is extremely successful in equipping Japanese supermarkets with mobile TAC V+ high-performance air purifiers, which have been the gold standard in mobile air purification since the beginning of the corona pandemic. Equipped with a specially developed H14 high-temperature HEPA filter system (certified according to EN 1822) to filter and thermally kill virus-carrying aerosols with an effectiveness of 99.995 percent from the room air, TAC V+ air purifiers enable a previously unattained level of protection against indirect infection with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
The new TAC series: Five models, two variants, seven discharge heights.

The new generation in mobile air purification: TAC II model year 2021
With the new model generation of the TAC series, we are raising the bar even higher and expanding the already wide range of applications for our high-performance air purifiers.
“Our customers include supermarkets and trading companies of all kinds, schools, day care centers, care facilities, but also production companies, authorities and medical practices. Even if the high requirements for the effectiveness of the air purification – to protect against indirect infection with the corona virus – are almost identical in all these areas of application, the customer requirements and regulations with regard to the device equipment and design sometimes differ quite significantly. It was therefore only logical to make our successful TAC series even more modular in order to be able to respond even more specifically to the individual requirements of our customers with optional equipment features and housing shapes,” says Jochem Weingartz, head of the Trotec innovation team for mobile room air purification, just completed generation change in the mobile high-performance air purifiers of the TAC series.
Mobile or stationary protection against infection: Clean air wherever you need it uncompromisingly flexible and can be used immediately anywhere.
The high-performance air purifiers of the mobile TAC series are equipped with wheels and a push handle. This means they can be moved and used wherever they are needed at any time. The framework conditions can change constantly and effective hygiene concepts require a high degree of flexibility in daily implementation. If sales areas have to be rearranged, the TAC air cleaners can be quickly repositioned or completely relocated to other rooms. With just one person and without additional installation effort. If desired, the discharge height can also be flexibly adjusted using FlowExtender attachments.
Dimensions and weight are important criteria
Set up, move instead of building and rebuilding. Large, conventional standing devices usually have a significant disadvantage compared to TAC devices: Once they have been set up at the place of use, they stand there and can only be moved to another location with great effort – stationary standing devices often weighing 200 kg and more. Even the delivery with a lifting platform becomes an organizational challenge. Quite apart from the fact that such heavyweights only find their way through doors with the usual standard dimensions with great effort and several people and often do not fit into the elevator due to their dimensions.
And if it should still be stationary?
We have made the right choice for this with our stationary TAC variant. Dimensions and weight are also important criteria here! 50% smaller, 50% lighter, 100% more stylish and yet more robust than competitive models, this version is far easier to move than other stationary air purifiers due to the integrated furniture castors. The stationary air purifier is also unrivaled thanks to the complex soundproofing concept quietly.
