Electric heaters are a good choice for heating marquees, trade fair pavilions or temporary accommodations, as they work noiselessly and without generating combustion exhaust gases. But the fresh air permanently supplied from outside, which is absolutely necessary for a comfortable indoor climate, is cold and must be heated up. That consumes a lot of energy – and, depending on the electricity rate, makes heating undesirably expensive. With the HEATBOX from Trotec you save up to 70% of the energy used. And it does it without magic, but thanks to applied physics.
The HEATBOX only directs so much fresh cold air into the indoor areas as is actually required. However, a large part of the warm air is directed from the indoor area as so-called “regeneration air” through the HEATBOX, where it is reheated using a significantly lower amount of energy. This creates a circuit of warm air, which maintains the generated heat as long as possible with a reduced amount of energy and nevertheless introduces a sufficient amount of fresh air into the tent. The HEATBOX makes this systematic air and heat exchange possible via an efficient circulation heating system – including the required incoming air and exhaust air hose connections for the adjustable combined circulating air operation.
Recirculation set for supplying fresh air when using indoor electric heaters
Inhabited accommodations likewise require a regular supply of fresh air. The circulation heating system described above works there as well when the electric heater is set up in an indoor space but must still suck fresh air in from outside via a hose connection as well. For example, because the ventilation through the door and window openings would bring in an annoying draught and humidity problems. Trotec offers everything you need to do in this regard: First, there is of course our excellent HEATBOX, and, second, our so-called “recirculation set”. A controlled supply of fresh air can thus be very simply set up using these as accessories to the two Trotec TEH 70 and TEH 100 electric heaters without any negative side effects. And, of course, this innovative procedure allows you to save up to 70% of the energy used as well!
