Is that an offer? The ICX640P thermal imaging camera, perfectly suited for industry work and construction diagnostics and, by the way, “made in the EU”, is founding a whole generation of great-value thermal imaging cameras. This is because, alongside its top-class technical equipment, it offers professional suppliers a high-resolution thermographics system to meet the highest standards – and now at almost half the price.
The ICX640P captures even the slightest temperature changes thanks to a detector resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, high-precision temperature measurements from -20 °C to +600 °C (optional calibration up to 2,000 °C is also possible) and high thermal sensitivity of 0.05 °C. In addition, the camera comes with fully radiometric real-time videos with high-resolution detector, infrared and real image combinations, daylight images, comprehensive on-site analyses and voice recording via Bluetooth.
In spite of its impressive range of functions and equipment, the ICX640P is consistently designed for user-friendly practicability: it’s modern technology is, for example, encased in an innovative IP54 housing and the display-control unit is removable. With this, objects that are not directly visible, in manholes for example, can be inspected from a comfortable position. The control unit with a large 5-inch pivotable display and the camera housing have identical control buttons for this purpose.
This is how it works
You can choose to either save the infrared images taken with the ICX640P as individual pictures, record a non-radiometric MPEG-4 video directly to an SD card or relay a fully radiometric 640 x 480 IR video to a PC where you can record and analyse it directly in real time.
Thanks to these different functions you will be best prepared to carry out detailed examinations of the heating and cooling behaviours of electronic and mechanical components or other objects over a defined time period. On top of that, alongside individual representation of infrared or real image pictures, with the ICX640P‘s integrated DuoVision function, it is also possible to combine both types of image information in various overlays. You can determine and locate damage or flaws more quickly with just a glance.
Four of many benefits which i like the most:
- the high-resolution detector with 640 x 480 pixels and the very high thermal sensitivity
- the guaranteed clear, high-quality thermal images thanks to the 50/60 Hz measurement and real-time image playback
- the real-time IR video function, meaning you can relay fully radiometric IR videos with the opportunity to evaluate and record directly on a PC in real time
- the MPEG-4 video function, meaning you can save non-radiometric MPEG-4 thermographic videos directly to an SD card
