Here’s how it works
To measure moisture with the compact BM18, push the insertion measuring pins a few millimetres into the material to be measured. The device then gives you fast and precise results. A calibration curve is provided in the BM18 for measuring wood moisture levels of the most commonly used wood types in Europe. No further settings are required for the determination of wood moisture content.
When taking measurements in dark environments, switch on the backlight by clicking the button once. This will automatically switch off again after 3 seconds. When not in use, the device will also automatically switch off after 30 seconds, guaranteeing a long battery life. If the battery does not have enough charge, this will be indicated in good time on the easy-to-read display.
