Here’s how it works
The portable PBCS 10A is an all-round charger with 10 amps charging current and backlit LC display with 10-step charging cycle. The multi-stage charging cycle is permanently monitored by the battery charger’s intelligent microprocessor control and adjusted fully automatically as required. Both non-maintenance and maintenance-free 12 V batteries are supported, including wet batteries such as lead-acid, Ca/Ca and EFB batteries, as well as gel and AGM batteries.
Safety is of course a top priority. The charger is protected against dust and water jets in accordance with protection class IP65. Your battery is reliably protected against overcharging by the PBCS 10A and even accidentally reversing the battery poles when connecting is no problem, because the integrated reverse polarity protection prevents short circuits, sparking and damage to the battery or the charger. A low or high battery voltage is signalled by a warning message on the LC display.

The maximum charge capacity is permanently maintained without damaging the battery by excessive charging. Ideally suited to prevent deep discharge of the battery in rarely used vehicles such as classic cars.
- Reconditioning mode for removed or detached batteries
The reconditioning mode is used to repair deeply discharged lead-acid batteries so that they can regain their nominal capacity. The service life of the battery is extended, and in many cases a new purchase can be avoided by reconditioning. Reconditioning mode is not suitable for batteries with a sealed design (e.g. AGM or gel).
- Supply mode
If a battery needs to be disconnected or replaced, the PBCS 10A serves as a power source in supply mode. All of the vehicle’s electronic settings are retained.
