Here’s how it works
The PPLS 10-20V electric battery planer impresses with optimum planing results and fast work progress at the same time. This is made possible, among other things, by the cutter block with high quality carbide blades. They have cutting edges on both sides and can be turned over with the enclosed tool when worn. You can set the ejection of chips to the right or left side to avoid annoying chip accumulation when machining the workpiece. For precisely milled groove and rebate joints, for example in furniture or window construction, the PPLS 10‑20V also has an easy-to-install rebate depth and parallel stop for precisely producing mortises and tenons. Chamfering wooden edges is just as easy, because three V-grooves of different depths are already worked into the sole of the planer.
The topic of ‘safety’ is also top priority with the PPLS 10-20V: To ensure that you always have a secure grip when the compact electric planer is gliding over the workpiece, the device, which is suitable for left and right-handed users, is equipped with non-slip soft-grip inserts – an indispensable guarantee for precise planing and milling results in dusty joinery, carpentry or home workshops. After you have finished the job, the battery-powered hand planer can be safely set down, and an automatic parking rest protects the workpiece and the planing blades from damage when the unit is put down. The switch-on lock integrated into the device handle prevents you from switching it on unintentionally.
