Maximum material removal during coarse sanding, fast work progress also during fine sanding for particularly smooth surfaces – that’s what the new PBSS 10-900 is known for. Equipped with a long-lasting 900-watt motor and a belt speed that can be infinitely adjusted from 120 m/min (level1) to 380 m/min (level 6) using an adjusting wheel, you are ideally prepared for all challenges in the surface treatment of wood, plastic or metal. The PBSS 10‑900 impresses both as a mobile and stationary belt sander with outstanding versatility and features in its device class – and at the same time it is pleasantly easy to use. A sanding belt for woodworking with 80 grain is already included in the scope of delivery so that you can get started straight away. Here’s how it works
The slim belt roller for sanding close to the edge houses an automatic belt centring system that centres the sanding belt automatically by itself. If required, a manual fine adjustment of the belt run is possible via an easily accessible adjustment screw. Changing the sanding belt is just as easy, thanks to the innovative tensioning lever system, which can be done completely without tools in just a few seconds.
Thanks to its low centre of gravity, the belt sander PBSS 10‑900 is characterized by excellent balance and power transmission to the surface that is to be sanded – thus enabling fatigue-free working even during longer sanding sessions. For a secure grip, the handle with integrated continuous operation lock button and belt speed control is also equipped with a non-slip softgrip insert. A second guide knob ensures a permanently high contact pressure in two-hand operation.
In stationary operation, the PBSS 10‑900 can be easily attached to the work table or workbench with precisely fitting retaining clamps and set to continuous operation by means of a locking switch. The unit has an integrated holding bracket for secure fixing of the table clamps supplied.
With its excellent sanding performance, the PBSS 10‑900 also ensures a high material removal rate and thus a lot of particle abrasion. To prevent this fine dust from contaminating the workplace or being inhaled, the belt sander has a connection for external dust extraction. In addition, an easy-to-clean textile dust bag with quick-release fastener is also included in the scope of delivery.
