The air cooler reduces the temperature of the room air without the use of chemicals, an energy-hungry cooling compressor, or bothersome exhaust hoses – instead, it uses completely natural innovative honeycomb cooling technology. As the room air flows through a moist honeycomb filter and the thermal energy is extracted, the air is cooled down, humidified with cold or ice-cold water, cleared of dust, fluff or animal hairs in the air filter, and blown out into the room as a flow of icy-fresh air. Here’s how it works
As the temperature rises at home and in the office, so does the cooling power of the PAE 80 / PAE 81. The warmer the temperature becomes, the quicker the moisture in the honeycomb filter is evaporated, and the more heat from this evaporation process is extracted from the air. The PAE 80 / PAE 81 simultaneously supports the body’s own natural immune defence against airborne pathogens such as flu viruses and SARS-CoV-2. This is because too low an air humidity level dries out the mucous membranes in the nose and makes it easier for viruses to penetrate. Whereas optimally humidified air enhances the body’s ability to defend itself. The PAE 80 / PAE 81 deliver impressive air-humidification results all year round thanks to its powerful humidification capacity of 2.8 l/h, which reliably keeps the air humidity within the recommended range of 40 to 60%.
The integrated timer function saves you energy and effort in equal measure as it switches the PAE 80 / PAE 81 on or off completely automatically according to an individually-preset time. The operating time before the device automatically switches on or off can be set in increments of one hour for between 1 to 15 hours. In the office, for example, the automatic switch-on function is practical as it means the work rooms can be cooled down to a pleasant temperature for the start of the working day. Or in the bedroom: the device can send you to sleep with a fresh breeze and then switch off until the following morning in order to save energy.
