Here’s how it works
The IR 2010 SC design ceiling heater provides targeted, pleasant heat without any warm-up time – for uncomplicated heating of tables in outdoor catering or for cosy moments on the balcony or patio at home. A push of a button is enough to flood the illuminated area with pleasant warmth. The LED table lighting can also be conveniently switched on and off using the remote control.
The halogen infra-red tube generates heat following the natural principle of solar radiation. And it is particularly energy-efficient, as a large part of the energy used is converted into direct heat. It’s not the ambient air that is heated, but rather the objects and persons in the direct vicinity of the infra-red radiator absorb the radiant heat, store it and release it back into the environment as secondary radiation. The heat distribution is silent and doesn’t have a fan whirling up dust, which allows those with asthma and allergy sufferers to breathe freely when close to the radiant heater.
The powder-coated aluminium housing of the IR 2010 SC has been tested according to protection class IP45 and is 100 percent rainproof. Whether rain, snow or even hail, even adverse weather conditions are no problem for the ceiling heater. The design ceiling heater comes with an innovative cable system for tool-free ceiling mounting. For mounting on the wall, an additional wall bracket (distance hanger) is required, which is available in well-stocked specialist shops. A close-meshed grid protects the infra-red heating tube from curious children’s fingers and accidental contact.
