The first owners of the new design-standing radiant heater IRS 2010 are said to be as happy as can be with every cool day. Because that would give them the opportunity to present the elegant stainless steel heater with its impressive features, comfort and design and its full heating power (two-stage! 2,000 watts!)! What rubbish! In fact, the weatherproof standing heater is equipped with everything that makes private and professional users happy – from the practical rotary lock to adjust heights between 180 and 220 cm, to the two LED spotlights to inspire with atmospheric light, to the remote control. Surely one can still show that off! Especially on cool days!
That’s right! The cooler it gets outside, despite spring, the more the new design radiant heater IRS 2010 is in demand in its core competence: to heat up as quickly as possible without lengthy preheating. For this purpose, the 69 cm wide standing radiant heater provides you with its two-stage infrared heat with 1,000 W and 2,000 W – and heats areas measuring up to 15 m² in a targeted manner with the downward radiating infrared heat. And it cuts a very fine figure with its housing which is made of silver-coloured aluminium and the telescopic rod made of high-quality, matt stainless steel with a solid base and finds a secure footing on practically all surfaces. Whether on a balcony, terrace, loggia, sales and trade fair or in guest areas of professional outdoor catering.
Here’s how it works
The heating intensity of the design radiant heater of 1,000 or 2,000 watts and the pleasant LED light, switchable even without preheating, can be easily adjusted to your needs using the intuitive control panel or conveniently using the infrared remote control. Thanks to the telescopic rod made of high-quality stainless steel, the height of the standing heater is infinitely adjustable from 180 cm to 220 cm. Ideal, for example, for use at bar tables, with seating groups or deck chairs.
According to protection class IP55, the standing heater is protected against water jets and penetration of foreign bodies. This means that the IRS 2010 is also predestined for use in covered and uncovered outdoor areas. A protective grid also prevents contact with the heating tubes. The practical tilt switch provides additional safety because it deactivates the stable and sturdy IRS 2010 if it accidentally wobbles or is knocked over.
The halogen heating tubes of the IRS 2010 generate heat according to the natural principle of solar radiation. And it is particularly energy-efficient, as a large part of the energy used is converted into direct heat. The heat distribution is silent and doesn’t have a fan whirling up dust, which allows those with asthma and allergy sufferers to breathe freely when close to the radiant heater.
The design standing radiant heater is assembled and ready for use in no time at all. The individual elements (heating element, telescopic tube and stand) are connected without tools. Power is supplied via a 1.80 m long power cable with a Schuko plug (CEE 7/7) for European sockets.
Four of the many advantages I particularly like:
- the mobile infrared heat without preheating
- the high-quality halogen infrared tubes for approx. 5,000 hours of illumination
- the even heat distribution for up to 15 m²
- the two-stage heat output with 1,000 W or 2,000 W
