Here’s how it works
The two high-quality halogen infrared tubes of the IRS 3020 generate heat according to the natural principle of solar radiation. This is particularly energy-efficient, as a large part of the energy used is converted into direct heat. It’s not the ambient air that is heated, but rather the objects and persons in the direct vicinity of the infrared radiator that absorb the radiant heat, store it and also release it back into the environment as secondary radiation. The heat distribution is silent and does not have a fan whirling up dust, which allows those with asthma and allergy sufferers to breathe freely when close to the radiant heater.
Sometimes it is particularly turbulent in the company of exuberant guests, pets or children rampaging around. If the standing radiator starts to wobble despite its sturdy aluminium base, the integrated toggle switch will immediately interrupt the power supply to the heating element. In addition, the radiant heater is protected against water splashes and the penetration of foreign objects according to protection class IP34. For additional safety, the heating tube is equipped with a protective grille to shield against accidental contact. Safe and protected all around. What a good feeling!
