Here’s how it works

The 1,500 W designer ceiling radiant heater IR 1550 SC impresses on the one hand with its unique design and at the same time provides comparatively inexpensive 360° all-round heat and pleasant LED light. The downward radiated heat of the 45 cm reflector shade can be felt over an area of 10 m². The radiant heater can be switched on and off simply by the touch of a button. An operating control lamp on the display indicates whether the infrared radiator is heating actively (green) or is on stand-by (red). The selected heating level is also shown on display.

The halogen infrared tubes generate heat according to the natural principle of solar radiation – and they do so in a particularly energy-efficient way because a large part of the energy used is converted into direct heat. The heat distribution is silent and doesn’t have a fan whirling up dust, which allows those with asthma and allergy sufferers to breathe freely when close to the radiant heater.

The infrared radiant heater IR 1550 SC is supplied with all the necessary mounting parts for quick and safe ceiling installation. The radiant heater, which weighs about 3.5 kg, is attached to the ceiling with four steel fastening ropes (tension wire) included in the scope of delivery. A close-meshed grid protects the heating rods from curious children’s fingers and accidental contact.
