Here’s how it works
The 23 cm long soldering iron is connected to the station via a flexible cable. A centrally integrated temperature controller with colour code allows the most common temperature ranges to be set with one turn. The colour coding indicates the desired temperature range:
- Yellow / ± 150 °C
- Orange / ± 150 – 270 °C
- Red / ± 270 – 500 °C
The ergonomically shaped design of the soldering iron with heat-resistant soft-grip inserts facilitates perfectly guided soldering work. A 100 cm long cable lead on the soldering iron and a 200 cm long mains cable ensure sufficient freedom of movement. During the comparatively short heating phase and during soldering breaks, the soldering iron, which weighs only 85 grams, finds a safe place in the funnel-shaped soldering iron holder made of robust stainless steel.
Accessories included in the delivery
1 x soldering station with soldering iron holder, material compartments and soldering sponge tray: The robust soldering iron holder provides a safe place for the soldering iron before, during and after soldering work. The storage compartments for solder and soldering tips keeps the workplace tidy. The soldering sponge integrated in the soldering sponge tray is used to keep the soldering tip clean and handy at all times.
2 x soldering tips with screw thread: Two soldering tips of different sizes enable large-scale to delicate soldering work in a wide range of applications. The pointed and conically shaped soldering tip is made of nickel-plated brass and the flat and chisel-shaped soldering tip is made of nickel-plated red copper. Both soldering tips can be changed in no time and without tools simply by screwing them in or out.
2 x soldering rolls (10 g each, solder Ø 1.0 mm, solder Ø 1.5 mm): Irrespective of whether you want to connect wires or cables or solder electronic components, the necessary solder (tin solder) is included in the scope of delivery.
