The equally robust and easily constructed oil fired heater of the IDS series has everything that is necessary for economic and immediate heating. Thanks to their solid and ingeniously simple construction, all units guarantee high reliability and minimal maintenance at the same time. The new indirect oil fired heater is also equipped with the proven functions of the series, at the same time however, the unit was further developed specifically for mobile use as a tent heater.
The tent heating unit IDS 30 F is the ideal solution for emergency and rescue services and community support organisations. Due to the robust construction, the many practical handling points and its flexible use, travel, and storage possibilities, the oil fired heater is ideal for use on site, or better: for use in front of a tent.
The most obvious difference: An integrated tank in the IDS 30 F was intentionally left out, in contrast to the other oil heaters of the IDS series, for reasons of flexibility. So your employees can handle the unit much easier due to weight-saving and they will also save time when loading, since the otherwise necessary step of emptying the tank is no longer required. And you even save yourself the bureaucracy, as otherwise there would be additional required travel or insurance documents for transport and storage due to the lack of tanks.
How it works
The oil heater is also equipped for fully-automatic thermostat-controlled operation. For the fully-automatic operation in the tent, you can connect an optional thermostat with a ten metre long cable. As standard the unit comes equipped with an electronic flame safeguard, a safety thermostat for protection against overheating and a fully-automatic after-cooling function. What’s more, the double-walled housing with protective coating provides effective sound insulation and increases the working safety as the surface temperature of the outer cover is minimised, which reduces risk of injury. The easily portable unit, which is stackable in storage such as in transport, is equipped with a sturdy frame, with impact protection and carrying handles. The fuel is supplied to the IDS 30 F via an optional external bulk tank or canister – the relevant accessory is available for both types of use.
Five of the many advantages that I find particularly good:
- The flexible use, transport, and storage possibilities due to the missing tank
- The clean warmth with high efficiency
- Stainless steel combustion chamber
- Electronic flame safeguard
- The overheating thermostat
