How it works

The liquid descaler has a red colour indicator which checks the active substance. If the colour changes from pink to yellow, the organic acids cannot take up any more lime because the descaling capacity has been used up.

Using the liquid descaler is really simple – for example, standard descaling in a coffee machine works like this: 125 ml of the undiluted descaler is poured into the water tank along with 500 ml of water, and then the unit is switched on. After a short cycle, let it operate for about 15 more minutes and then rinse out the tank with a lot of clear water. As soon as the water tinge has disappeared, this means that there is no residual descaler in the device. The machine is now completely descaled and clean – and you can have full enjoyment of your coffee once more!
