Here’s how it works
The modern infrared heating technology of the IRS 2010 E generates heat according to the natural principle of the sun. And it is particularly energy-efficient, as a large part of the energy used is converted into direct heat. The heat is distributed without dust being whirled up by a fan, which means that even asthmatics and allergy sufferers can breathe freely in the direct vicinity of the radiant heater – without any preheating time, disturbing noises or even unpleasant odours, as is the case with other heating solutions.
The IRS 2010 E, which is splash-proof according to protection class IP44, is equipped with an optimally balanced base for a secure stand and to reduce the risk of tipping. In the unlikely event that this happens despite its stable base, the integrated toggle switch with overheating protection immediately interrupts the power supply to the heating element. In addition, the infra-red heating technology of the IRS 2010 E is protected from curious children’s fingers and brave pets by a close-meshed grid.
If necessary, the approximately 106 cm high and extremely narrow IRS 2010 E can be used flexibly at various locations. A carrying handle integrated in the device housing enables the device to be transported even when it is hot.
