How it works
The PIWS 10-20V cordless impact drill, with ½” (12.7 mm) square head tool holder and automatic activation of the striking mechanism, is the most efficient professional solution for the powerful drilling of screws and for tightening and loosening nuts. The different torque stages are displayed on the illuminated LED display integrated into the battery shaft, so that they can be read even in darkness.
By pressing the integrated clockwise/counter-clockwise switch, the tool does not additionally need to be set down for tightening or loosening screws and nuts. Even large and long screws can be drilled effortlessly, as the special impact mechanism of the PIWS 10-20V protects your wrist from the resulting torsional forces.
The new cordless impact drill, weighing only 2,500 g, is easy to hold in your hand without getting tired, even for longer periods of use. This is made possible through the use of weight-reducing materials in the glass-fibre reinforced plastic housing and the lightweight gearbox made of die cast aluminium. The Softgrip inlays embedded in the tool handle ensure a constant secure hold when working. For maximum safety, the device is equipped with a quickstop overrun brake and power-on lock, which prevents the impact driver from accidentally being switched on.
