Here’s how it works
The power strips PVP3 and PVP6 are equipped with self-closing hinged covers with integrated rubber sealing lips above the earthed powers and thus offer reliable protection against the ingress of dirt with a particle size larger than one millimetre as well as against moisture and splash water. And thanks to the 45° positioning of the powers, the plugs that need to be placed also fit larger power supplies optimally and easily next to each other in the powers.
The central rocker switch makes switching off electrical appliances easy, even in hard-to-reach places. Simply flip the switch when you’re done and you can be sure that none of the connected appliances are ‘secretly’ consuming power. Its red LED light indicates whether the power strip is on or off. Of course, the rocker switch has a waterproof protective cap.
The 2 m long mains cable with a light rubber tubing is particularly resistant to tensile loads and mechanical strain and provides the necessary space for all common applications. The 3-core, fine-wire cable type H05RR-F 3G1.5 (rubber tube cable) is suitable for use in dry or damp rooms, protected outdoor areas as well as occasionally outdoors. Thanks to the robust and high-quality workmanship, the power strips can be used at temperatures ranging from -5 °C to 35 °C.
