Now there’s a big second helping of summer: With the new powerful infrared radiant heaters of the IR-S series now available, you can beat the cold as the days get cooler. Both when showering in the morning and when enjoying a glass of wine on the patio in the evening. What’s more, the radiant heaters are the ideal heating solution for providing pleasant warmth even in the coldest corners of a house and home – for example in basements and workshops, but also on the patio in the dining area.
With their enormous power of 2,500 watts, both the IR 2500 S and IR 2550 S infrared radiant heaters are perfectly suited for use in and around the house, for example on your patio at home – which means you can also enjoy sitting outside in warmth and comfort during the change in seasons. Or do you even have an outdoor dining area? Then the two heat suppliers present you with the prospect of a considerable and thus profitable extension of the service time of tables and chairs.
Precisely according to the natural principle of the sun, infrared radiant heaters heat up solid bodies and objects, and not the air. They store the thermal energy and also re-release it as secondary radiation. For example, straight after switching the device on a pleasant feeling of warmth can be felt on the skin. In addition, as the devices don’t use any fans, they provide warmth odourlessly and silently and also don’t stir up any dust – that is why our infrared radiant heaters are also ideally suited as a heating solution for allergy sufferers.
How it works
With their robust construction and successful aluminium design, both the IR 2500 S and the IR 2550 S are ideally suited for use in larger spaces, such as storage facilities, marquees, indoor markets or street cafés. Both infrared heaters can be used flexibly indoors and outdoors and thanks to the inclination angle with an adjustable range of 90°, they can be precisely and effectively oriented as a heat source, for example, onto guest tables in the dining area. Thanks to their lengths of 870 mm each, they also have a wide effective range.
Both infrared radiant heaters can be attached to the wall and ceiling – in order to commission the device simply plug its connecting cable into the nearest socket. What’s more, the infrared heaters can also be used as free-standing models due to the flexible mounting options onto a telescopic stand and can be used temporarily in uncovered areas for flexible applications.
Four of the many advantages that I particularly like:
- infrared warmth without preheating
- even and targeted distribution of warmth
- clean, condensate-free, odourless and silent warmth
- suitable for allergy sufferers since it does not stir up dust
Special comfort functions of the IR 2500 S infrared radiant heater
The IR 2500 S infrared heater is equipped with an infinitely variable thermostat – a top-class comfort function. Once set to the right individual feel-good temperature, the device reliably heats up to the exact point – it then switches itself off to save energy and then switches back on automatically when the temperature falls. And the IR 2500 S is licensed for use in bathrooms, since the device is spray-proof and jet-water-proof in accordance with protection class IP34.
Special comfort functions of the IR 2550 S infrared radiant heater
Control of the IR 2550 S infrared radiant heater is made into a convenient pleasure thanks to its IR remote control: Switching the radiant heater on and off, selecting the three heating stages and regulating the 24-hour timer is all done very simply at the push of a button. Because of the IR remote control, the IR 2550 S is ideally suited for use in larger spaces, for example in marquees, street cafés or in stables, since it allows the infrared radiant heater to be switched on and off conveniently when installed on the ceiling or in hard-to-reach places.
The IR 2550 S has an ‘off’ stage as well as three heating stages of 850 W, 1,650 W and 2,500 W. Of course all of the functions can also be controlled from the radiant heater’s operating panel. A look at the integrated LED display will show which heating level is currently selected and the operation control light signals the device’s general operational readiness.
