How it works
The pros know best: the softer the material, the higher the speed required. For this reason, the infinitely variable speed and impact control of the PRDS 20‑20V cordless hammer drill allows the impact and speed frequency to be optimally adapted to the hardness of the material to be processed. A function selector switch with safety lock allows quick and easy switching between the two functions drilling/screwdriving and hammer drilling. The pneumatic hammer mechanism with high-compression pistons, with a powerful striking frequency of 5,000 min-1 and an idling speed of 1,000 min-1, ensures high impact power and high-precision as well as safe working.
Thanks to the SDS-plus system, the drilling attachments can be changed quickly and without tools. The additional, pre-assembled handle can be positioned by rotating through 360°, thus guaranteeing a stable hold in any position. This ensures that the tool consistently sits securely and comfortably in your hand, even in the most diverse of working environments. The depth stop can be used to continuously adjust the penetration depth of the drill, allowing for total control over the drilling depth. For this purpose, the depth stop is simply inserted into the side receptacle of the additional handle and fixed with the handle’s screw connection.
