Processing work-pieces and edges made of wood, plastic and lightweight materials is easy and extremely precise with the universal router PRTS 10-200. It can be used to cut grooves, edges, profiles, chamfers, curves, semi-troughs and circles. And with impressive precision: with a continuously variable milling depth adjustment between 0 mm and 55 mm and an additional fine adjustment, you can make cuts with a precision of up to 0.1 mm. Using the adjustment wheel with a total of 7 orientation levels, you can set the tool output continuously from 11,000 to 30,000 min‑1 – and thus always work at the optimum speed for the material.
Here’s how it works
So that you can get started straight after unpacking the router, the PRTS 10-1200 is supplied with six router heads for the most common routing jobs: a semi-cavity cutter, two groove cutters, a V-groove cutter, a rounding cutter and a profile cutter. Thanks to the spindle lock, the tool tips can be changed quickly and easily.
The generous scope of delivery also includes other practical accessories that make work even easier and more convenient: a rip fence, a depth stop, a compass point, a guide sleeve, two collets (6 and 8 mm), adapter and reducer for external dust extraction. With the easy-to-mount rip fence for guiding, the depth stop and the associated step stop or turret stop for precise routing depth adjustment, also for achieving greater routing depths in steps, you will achieve perfect working results.
Two ergonomically shaped handles guarantee comfortable handling and fatigue-free guidance of the router PRTS 10-1200, while the balanced centre of gravity of the router guarantees a secure positioning/stand and maximum control at all times. The safety switch-on lock also ensures safe operation to prevent the device from being switched on accidentally. For maximum freedom of movement, the hand milling machine is equipped with a 3 m mains cable.
So that you do not have to breathe in the fine dust that in inevitably produced during routing, the router is supplied with adapters for connecting an external dust extraction device. The reducer and the adapter allow conventional industrial and workshop hoovers to be connected.
