With 3.5 kW cooling capacity and up to 600 m³/h air volume, the PT 3500 SP provides immediate cooling exactly where it is needed. You can also split its cold air flow from two separate cold air lines in two directions. Each of the two cold air lines can be tilted by 150 degrees and swivelled by 360 degrees for precise cooling. And best of all: you can use the multifunctional spot cooler for spot or room air cooling as well as for ventilation or dehumidification. In combination with its high mobility, this versatility allows you an extremely wide range of applications, such as efficient cooling of individual work areas or machines and system components, of server and network rooms, spot cooling at events, for welding work or in the catering industry – and much more!
Here’s how it works
The spotcooler PT 3500 SP offers you four different operating modes. You can configure these operating modes easily and intuitively via the large control panel.
- Room air cooling: here, the integrated thermostat automatically regulates the supply of cooling air based on the determined room temperature and cools the room down until t he preselected target temperature is reached.
- Spot cooling mode: this spot cooling air supply is implemented via the two adjustable cold air lines. The ambient temperature is not taken into account, instead the desired discharge temperature is entered via the thermostat. This means that the unit can be placed in an adjoining room in order to blow in the cold air at the destination via connected air transport hoses.
- Fan function: just right when air cooling is not required but fan-based air freshening is desired. To save energy, the compressor is deactivated while the fan functions remain available.
- Dehumidification function: the spotcooler also has a cooling effect during targeted room dehumidification, but the fan power is reduced to a minimum.
You can also use the timer function on the control panel of the PT 3500 SP to set the spotcooler to switch on and off automatically. In addition, the control panel has a warning light to indicate a full condensate tank and a self-diagnosis function with fault indication.
If required, an optional air transport hose can be connected to the warm air outlet for discharging the warm air outdoors. Instead of regular manual emptying of the condensate container, it is alternatively possible to connect an optional condensate hose for automatic condensate drainage. The robust steel construction of the PT 3500 SP is tough and offers great manoeuvrability and mobility thanks to its compact, narrow design and sturdy castor wheels.
