Now the water pump is automatically supplied with power and regulated maintenance-free every time you open and close the consumer. This is because the pressure switch ensures constant water pressure in the connected pipe system for garden irrigation or domestic water supply and also protects the connected pump from damage due to dry-running, knockback effects and overheating.
Here’s how it works
The TDP DSA pressure switch controls automatic domestic water supply and service water use in the home and garden and is the reliable solution for the automatic control of deep well pumps, garden pumps, centrifugal pumps or water pumps. This is because the pressure switch permanently monitors the line pressure and automatically switches on and restores the pressure in the event of a pressure drop. If the line pressure is reached again, the pump control switches itself off automatically.
The pressure switch is designed for a working pressure in the conveyor system of up to 10 bar, which can be read on the integrated pressure gauge. The robust plastic housing is protected against water jets and dust from all sides in accordance with protection class IP65. The pumps connected to the pressure switch are protected against damage caused by dry-running, kickback effects and overheating, thus extending their effective service life. Incidentally, the two inlet and outlet openings on the pressure switch are equipped with 1″ external threads and thus fit perfectly to common pump, hose or pipe connections.
