How it works
The PAC 5800 X unit boasts four operating modes: cooling, ventilation, dehumidification and air filtration. They create a comfortable ambient climate, regardless if used alone or in combination. In automatic mode, the air conditioner cools and ventilates the room fully automatically to a set temperature. When set to manual cooling, however, the target temperature of the room becomes individually adjustable from 18 to 32° C. And because cooling with natural wind power is sometimes all that is needed, the unit’s three-stage ventilation, with its infinitely adjustable air direction, delivers evaporative cooling of the skin that you can really notice.
Whenever humidity becomes a problem: With its dehumidification feature, the PAC 5800 X removes excess moisture from the room air – at a rate of up to 2.2 litres per hour. The moisture is collected as condensate in a collecting tank. A permanent condensate drain can be connected at the rear if required. What’s more, its ventilation and dehumidification modes can even be used when the cooling function is deactivated – making the additional purchase of such devices redundant. Multiple air filtration with activated carbon rounds off the room climate enhancing features of the PAC 5800 X: This reduces the amount of dust, animal hair and problem substances in the breathable indoor air. Its built-in air filter is both easy to remove and to clean.
Its integrated timer function allows the unit to be switched on and off automatically. Its whisper-quiet night mode, with adjustable temperature control, helps you get a good night’s sleep and allows your body to recover. The air conditioner can be conveniently controlled – either with the supplied infra-red remote control, or with the easy-to-use membrane keypad on the unit itself.
