Here’s how it works
With the compact and ergonomically optimised current clamp BE42, completely non-contact AC current strength measurements up to 400 A as well as AC voltage measurements and DC voltage measurements up to 600 V can be carried out. With NCV measurement (non-contact voltage detection), the NCV LED lights up red as soon as the sensor detects an AC voltage (min. 110 V~). All measurement results are clearly displayed on the backlit LC display.
All display and operating elements, as well as the slim, wide-opening clamp and the smooth-running clamp-opening lever, are designed for comfortable one-hand operation. You can select the measuring method conveniently and easily via a practical rotary switch. Thanks to the battery-saving ‘Auto-Power-Off’ function, the device switches off fully automatically when not in use.
An anti-impact all-round rubber coating makes the current clamp, which is dust-protected according to protection class IP40, particularly easy to grip, reliably protects it from impacts or damage and also prevents it from slipping away unintentionally when places on surfaces that are not horizontal. The hand-held device BE42 is supplied with safety cables with test probes and AAA batteries.
