The compact new True-RMS current clamp BE42 enables electricians and service technicians to take precise measurements in industrial and building systems or even in confined control cabinets – without having to break the circuit. Here’s how it works
With the new True-RMS current clamp BE42, the current intensity is determined completely without contact by measuring the electromagnetic field. Cable connections do not have to be disconnected or interrupted. This makes testing and maintenance work particularly efficient. Thanks to the battery-saving ‘Auto-Power-Off’ function, the device switches off fully automatically when not in use. All measurement results are clearly displayed on the backlit LC display. The measuring method is selected conveniently and easily via a practical rotary switch.
In addition, the clamp ammeter impresses with convenient functions that make work easier, such as a HOLD function, MAX measurement display, battery status display, warning if the measuring range is exceeded and practical LEF lighting for large-area illumination of the working area. With NCV measurement (non-contact voltage detection), the NCV LED lights up red as soon as the sensor detects an AC voltage (min. 110 V~). The hand-held meter BE42 is supplied including safety cables with test probes and AAA batteries.
