In the base plate, recessed notches for the 0 and 45 degree positions show you the exact cutting lines and facilitate exact sawing at the crack by depicting the saw cut width. And with the help of the provided parallel stop, a perfect longitudinal cut becomes child’s play. Furthermore, you can switch on an integrated laser guide light to display the exact cutting line – possible deviations from the cutting line can thus be corrected immediately. Moreover, the guide light makes the freehand guiding of the saw along a straight cut easier for you.
Thanks to its mass centre being ideally positioned, the compact PCSS 10-1400 is ergonomically optimised for continuous use. Since the main handle is also equipped with softgrip inserts, the circular saw can be comfortably and firmly gripped and also be precisely guided using two hands with the help of the additional front handle.
For professionals, safety is always prioritised – as is the case with the PCSS 10-1400. A safety switch therefore prevents the hand circular saw from inadvertently being started up. Upon being switched on, the soft start with start-up current limiter protects against acceleration being too high and the high-quality aluminium pivoting safety guard with retraction handle provides additional user protection. Thanks to the integrated spindle lock, changing saw blades is also simple and safe, with the hex key required for this purpose being close at hand and mounted within the housing.
