Here’s how the energy-saving thermostat control works
Raise or lower the desired room temperature via the modern touch panel or alternatively using the infrared remote control that is included in the delivery. In doing so, the built-in thermostat of the TFC 220 E fan heater automatically controls the room temperature as well as the energy consumption. So, all you have to do is set the desired room temperature either via the modern touch panel or infrared remote control supplied.
There are three operating modes you can choose from, each with different heat output and adapted energy consumption:
- Comfort mode
The thermostat-controlled comfort mode with maximum heating output is recommended for heating up rooms quickly. When the desired room temperature is reached, the heater switches off until the temperature falls below the target temperature by 2 °C and then heats up again. The temperature control is fully automatic.
- Night Mode
The fan heater has a night mode with reduced heat output, especially for use in the bedroom. Here, too, the unit is switched on and off thermostatically as soon as the desired temperature is exceeded or fallen below by 2 °C. The night mode is recommended in order to keep the room warm. The room temperature is kept constant with energy-optimized heating output.
- Energy-saving mode
In energy-saving mode, the TFC 220 E regulates the room temperature to a comfortable temperature range of around 21 °C without a pre-set target temperature, thermostat-controlled and energy-saving.
